mimikaki (耳掻き)

I knew that Japanese (and most Asians) have ear wax that is different than mine, but I didn't know there was a entire custom to ear cleaning called mimikaki. It kinda reminds me of how Liz used to cut my toenails when I was a kid because they got long and curly. [I looked for a photo of a toenail to put here but, I learned, googling toenail images is not a safe thing to do.
