Red hair and black leather, my favorite color scheme

A Vincent in the MOMA! A bike like this is featured in a Richard Thompson song:

Said Red Molly to James that's a fine motorbike
A girl could feel special on any such like
Said James to Red Molly, well my hat's off to you
It's a Vincent Black Lightning, 1952
And I've seen you at the corners and cafes it seems
Red hair and black leather, my favorite color scheme
And he pulled her on behind And down to Boxhill they did ride

I skipped most of the paintings during this trip and went to the Lee Friedlander photography exhibit which just opened to members today (got in via the Wiley corp membership). They had over 500 photographs on display...kinda overwhelming. However, they put the photos together in interesting series. One of my favorites is a series which were photographed from a car and include the reflection in the side mirror. I also liked the portrait of Diane Arbus with her kid. They also had some of his limited run books on display which were beautifully printed and bound. It makes me want to learn book binding. I also went to the design part of the museum where I found the Vincent.

Also covered by Mary Lou Lord on Live City Sounds. My favorite color scheme as well.
