Gocco T's

Alex and I finished our second round of screen printing on to fabric last night. The results were pretty satisfying. We were ready to print on anything and everything but we stuck to t-shirts (mostly). This time we used screens that are designed for fabric printing along with the official Riso squeegee to apply the ink (rather than the stamper kit). These screens are not as fine as the regular screens which helps prevent the ink from drying up and clogging the exposed holes in the screen (one of the problems we encountered with the last batch of shirts). Here are a few more photos of the process and the results. We printed on $2.79 Hanes shirts from AC Moore which are a bit oversized but took the ink up nicely. We also printed on to the pockets of some old pocket-t's which looked great.
