Crazy Maine people in North Carolina?

Ellen just called and reported that she and Miles encountered a woman attracting attention on the Bolin Creek trail in Chapel Hill screaming, "I will not testify before the world court about my weapons! I will not testify! The tapes are worthless!" Of course, Ellen's first worry was that people would think that she and the woman were together. I would be worried about her weapons.
The crazy woman sounds like a Mainer to me! Hopefully Liz will share her list of strange Portland characters and their swords.
